Editing Internship: Fall 2024
As an Editing Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in the editorial process, working closely with our managing editors to review and refine submissions, fact-check articles, and ensure that content meets the highest standards of academic integrity and style. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your formal writing skills, deepen your understanding of political economic academia, and collaborate with intellectual communities at Tulane and across the globe. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, passionate about writing and research, interested in policy and political economy, and eager to learn in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities

Attend Bi-weekly meetings with your supervisors and the editing team.

Reach out to faculty to update and build up our faculty review board

Copyediting article submissions
-
Filtering submissions for quality of research and alignment with Journal topics

Collaborate with the other branches and be willing to take assignments from Programming, Operations, and special projects from the Editor-in-Chief.
